Smell bottle . 2019
Porcelain . ø 60 x 210 mm
Olfaction as a sensorial information channel provides 'nominal' data about the presence of qualitatively odour in an environment. The project aims to evoke human senses to reconfigure human relationships to nature.
The Bottle was designed as a diffuser. The distinct opening at the top flows into a narrow neck before expanding in a rounded base, which sends the smell wafting up the bottle through the air. The work emphasizes human interaction with the environmental surroundings through the olfactory system.
