Ariane Rabel Shirvani (b. Tehran, living and working in Berlin) completed her Master of Arts in Design and Interior at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. She is a designer and researcher focused on material narratives, green waste, and bio-based productions. She explores various plant species that contribute to climate resilience through their unique characteristics. Her work highlights the subtleties of the botanical world, aiming to integrate biological pigments as sustainable alternatives in craft processes. She emphasises the importance of adopting eco-friendly and responsible practices within the textile industry while working to increase awareness of critical issues within the field and their impact on the environment.
